About The CPD Course

This Level 2 Allergy Safety in Schools (Benedict’s Law Training) course provides learners with the knowledge and practical awareness required to manage allergies safely within educational settings. It covers how allergies affect the body, common allergens in schools, and how to recognise and respond to allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. Learners will understand emergency procedures, including the use of adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs), as well as key legal responsibilities under Benedict’s Law. The course also explores risk prevention, Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs), and the importance of effective communication and a whole-school approach to allergy management.
