About The CPD Course
This Level 2 Food Allergy Awareness course provides learners with essential knowledge of food allergens, associated risks, and the controls required to manage them safely in food environments. It covers the 14 major allergens, how allergic reactions occur, and their potential severity, including anaphylaxis. Learners will understand relevant UK legislation, including the Food Information Regulations 2014 and Natasha’s Law, and their responsibilities in providing accurate allergen information. The course also focuses on preventing cross-contamination, safe food handling practices, and effective communication, supporting compliance across a range of food-related roles.
